Cox Solutions Stores Offer Unique Retail Experience

Browse. Interact. Learn. Play. Explore.

While those aren’t necessarily the first words that come to mind when you think of Cox Communications, the company’s recent changes to its retail strategy may change that perception.

Today, when a Cox customer steps foot inside one of its newly opened or recently remodeled stores, they are treated to a unique, interactive experience. The retail centers, which are more accurately referred to as solutions stores, are strategically located throughout the Omaha metro area.

“What’s unique about our solutions stores is that they are about more than selling products or giving customers a place to pay their bill,” said Cox Senior VP and General Manager David Blau. “Our new stores offer an inviting environment where consumers can have an interactive and true learning experience like no other.”

One of the most unique features of Cox’s solutions stores is personalized concierge service from the moment a customer walks through the door. Each customer is greeted by a friendly concierge who enters their name into a cuing system, takes any equipment they may have and gets them to the appropriate sales associate or educator for assistance.

TCW Construction Inc. is a general contractor with diversified capabilities in heavy construction. Past projects include street and airport paving, box culvert construction, wastewater treatment plant construction and upgrades, storm and sanitary sewer installation, various types of structural concrete construction, levee stabilization, and environmental construction. They are a dealer for Butler pre-engineered metal buildings, and can provide related services such as footings and laser-installed finished floors. They have a fleet of trucks to haul various construction materials, and have recently started a concrete crushing operation that takes old concrete and makes a product that can be used in new construction activities. This keeps a large amount of demolished concrete out of the landfill. TCW also has a subsidiary, Husker Concrete, which produces and delivers ready-mixed concrete in the Lincoln area.

Established in 1977, Tony’s Cement Works, Inc. had been transformed into TCW Construction, Inc. in 1998 and is now led by the family team of Joseph Delgado, President, Scott Delgado, Vice President and Ryan Delgado, Secretary.
